Email services

Over the last few years, email has proved to be one of the the most widely used communication tools available. As such, it needs to be implemented in a structured manner. We operate our own email servers and can provide these customised email solutions to suit your requirements.

We can set-up centralised email servers to allow you to access your mail via the conventional Outlook/Outlook Express interface, WebMail or to an onboard MDaemon email server. We can remotely control and manage multiple delivery addresses, such as Blackberry devices. Centralised email allows us to back-up and manage this information from our managed servers plus distribute the email across a wide range of platforms, essential for mobile users.

Additionally, as email passes through our servers, it is scanned for viruses (using MailEnable and Fprot) and spam (using SpamWall). We can also implement size quotas so you are simply notified of a large attachment enabling you to make the decision to download or not. Large attachments can also be re-routed to an additional account.

Our on-board email systems have been designed for ease and flexibility. All email is generally downloaded to your onboard server for distribution within the yacht. Additionally, email can be redirected to other accounts or remain on our servers allowing crew to access their email when away from the yacht.
