OceanWeb Relocate Servers

OceanWeb have now relocated their main core of operational email and web servers to Netcetera's newly developed multi-million pound world-class Data Centre facility on the Isle of Man.

OceanWeb are constantly aiming to improve the core services of email, web & support.  With this in mind, a major hardware & software upgrade was undertaken and all email and web servers relocated.

There are several advantages to this move including:

  1. Faster & more reliable servers on a more stable connection.
  2. Better Support - The Dataport has technical support staff on site 24/7, giving us quicker turnaround times.
  3. More Security - The Dataport is located in a secure location and manned 24/7 by security personnel.
  4. Greener - The Dataport uses the latest, most efficient technologies available, thus keeping power bills down, and ensuring that the environmental impact is as small as possible.

Our new servers are high-specification HP’s and are running the latest Windows 2008 server software.
