Technical Support Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT professional to join our dynamic team providing expert IT support and innovative solutions to our global portfolio of Superyachts.  By developing good relationships with the crew onboard you will need to gain a strong understanding of their unique needs to ensure the efficient operation of their IT and satellite communication systems.  This will involve managing their networks, researching new technologies and specifying equipment as well as proactive and reactive remote support. This role requires extensive travel to complete the configuration and installation of a wide variety of hardware onboard.

With a broad mix of IT skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server OS, Mac OS and Office Suite Software, the ideal candidate will be a graduate in Computing, Electronics or Engineering and have 3+ years’ experience of working in an IT role. Training will be provided for specialist systems however knowledge of Networking i.e. firewalls, switching and routing is essential. A CCNA Cisco networking qualification is desirable.
